Frequently Asked Questions about planning
a wedding ceremony
Q:
What do we need to be married legally?
A: Each state has different laws regarding what is required to obtain
a marriage license.
Here is a link to help explain your states marriage laws. http://usmarriagelaws.com/
Q:
What do marriage celebrants wear?
A: Marriage celebrants wear any number of things. We want to make you
feel comfortable. We've been found in fancy church robes, a suit with
our clerical collars, a suit and tie, ETC. If you want us to wear a
Hawaiian shirt with shorts and flip-flops, we'll wear that.
Q:
Should the celebrant be at our rehearsal?
A: We recommend it. It's been our experience that it helps everyone
involved with your day to understand where and when things are going
to happen. We are very happy to include this as part of our fee. However,
if there is a need for us to book accommodations there is an added fee.
Q:
Do we have to be a specific religion?
A: No.
Our celebrants welcome people of all faiths or no faith at all.
If you have a question,
please feel free to send it our way. We'll be happy to help you.
